Aunt Debbie came for a visit and we took her to the Experience Music Project (EMP), on a ferry ride to the peninsula, to an Easter Egg hunt and to see the tulips. We also went to see our friend John on the Coast Guard ship. It was cool to have a private tour of the whole ship and the kids were excited to buy USCG hats.

My company family picnic was at NW Trek, a wild game park. The kids loved taking photos of all of the animals with their cameras. Z was on business travel for a few weeks and while he was gone our friend Judy came to visit. We had a great weekend visiting a wallaby farm and picking apples at Farmer Nate’s – a farmer we because friends with after my company picnic last year. The kids love the farm which has hay rides, duck races, a petting zoo and apple orchards. It’s a great place and reminds me so much of my own grandparents’ farm.

Our babies turned 4!!! It’s hard to believe that Gabe and Zara have grown so much in 4 years. They are smart, funny, and energetic and bring so much joy to our lives. We can’t imagine our lives without them!
March was full of fun activities. We celebrated Gabe & Zara’s birthday at home with their favorite treat – a doughnut then we had a great celebration after school at their favorite play area. We had so much fun celebrating with our friends.
We also enjoyed many trips downtown to ride the trolly and the monorail and to go swimming at the gym. The kids love to swim and are not afraid of the water.

January brought lots of snow to the mountains and we loved playing in the snow. We made several trips for cross country skiing and sledding.
