G&Z celebrated their 9th birthday in March. Amy coached both of their basketball teams this year. It was a lot of work but also fun. Z went to Slovenia to visit his parents.

The Seattle Viaduct was torn down and replaced with an underground tunnel. After the final closure the city held a bike ride through the tunnel and on the Viaduct. We miss the beautiful views from the bridge but this is good for the waterfront.
There was a huge snow storm while Amy was in DC for work. Z and the kids were stuck home for the entire week. They don’t plow our street or those around us so it became a huge sledding party!

We spent Christmas in PA. The kids wanted to see the monuments and since we landed at National Airport which is literally across the river, we headed to the monuments once we landed. There is something to be said about sightseeing at midnight! No other tourists around!
